Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Upon arrival at the Delhi airport/railway station, our tour representative will escort you to the hotel pre-decided for your stay. Although there is no activity lined up for day 1, we suggest you to try out local street food or explore the popular markets such as Connaught Place and Chandani Chowk. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
On the 2nd day of the Forts and Palaces of India journey, our guide will pick you up and lead you to the popular tourist attractions such as India Gate, Jama Masjid, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Parliament House, Gandhi Memorial, Qutub Minar Complex, Humayun’s Tomb and Red Fort. A dose of infotainment will be there as our expert guide entertain you with the interesting stories pertaining to these attractions. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Delhi - Mandawa
Early morning, take a road journey to Mandawa. The town lies amidst the famous Golden triangle destinations- Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. On reaching Mandawa, check into your hotel. In the evening, you will be taken to the Shekhawati region, also known as the ‘Open Art Gallery of India’. Explore the beautifully painted Havelis and later enjoy a camel ride for about an hour. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 04 : Mandawa - Bikaner
Today, in the morning, go out for a sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Start with a visit to the 17th century old Junagarh Fort. Other major attractions covered in this itinerary include Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal and Bijai Phool Mahal. Post sightseeing, drive back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Following a leisurely breakfast, take a road trip to Jaisalmer. It is an erstwhile princely state in the heart of the Thar Desert. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. A visit to the local markets of Jaisalmer is on the cards. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer
Post breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Start by visiting Jaisalmer Fort, perched atop of the Trikuta Hill. Besides, you can visit the local Havelis of Jaisalmer- Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon-Ki-Haveli- famous for its stone carving and lattice work, and Lodurva. In the evening, enjoy the camel safari till sunset. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
In the morning, leave by road for Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Later, go out on a sightseeing tour covering Mehrangarh Fort-one of the largest forts in India, and Jaswant Thada- a 19th century white cenotaph built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh. The evening is free to explore the local bazaars or simply relax. Later, drive back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 08 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
In the morning, leave by road for Udaipur. On the way, visit the Ranakpur temples- the Jain pilgrimage center of Rajasthan. Visit the famous Chaturmukh temple- famous for its exquisite art and architecture. Upon arrival, check into the Lake Palace. The evening is free to stroll around the local bazaars and shopping for handicraft items. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 09 : Udaipur
Early morning, set out for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The places you will visit here include Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple- a fine example of Indo-Aryan architecture, the City Palace and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. The evening is scheduled for a boat cruise in the Lake Pichola. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 10 :Udaipur - Pushkar
Early morning, take a road journey to Pushkar. Upon arrival in Pushkar, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Brahma Temple- dedicated to the Hindu creator God Brahma. Following the boat cruise, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 11 : Pushkar - Jaipur
Today, in the morning, leave by road for Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax. You may visit the ethnic village resort ‘Chokhi Dhani’ to savor local Rajasthani food. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 12 : Jaipur
In the morning, go out for an excursion to the famous Amer Fort. Hop on the elephant and ascend to the entrance point of Amber Fort. In the afternoon, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Jaipur covering City Palace- a palatial complex showcasing blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar (a royal observatory housed with astronomical instruments) and the local bazaars. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 13 : Jaipur - Agra
Early morning, hit the road to Agra. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri ( the deserted Mughal town built by emperor Akbar). Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal are some worth visiting attractions. Upon arrival in Agra, check into the hotel for night stay.
Day 14 : Agra - Delhi
In the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour covering Taj Mahal ( Built in the 17th century, Taj Mahal is recognized as one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’), Red Fort (the erstwhile formidable base of Mughal rulers) and Itmad-Ud-Daulah tomb. By afternoon, leave by road for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport/railway station for onward journey.
